Men's fashion ideas for the Summer Season

Starsky

men's fashion trend spring summer 2023 70s

Highlighted on the catwalks, the 70's trend, present since winter, also asserts itself this season. Glasses with smoked (yellow) lenses, glossy leather, and suede skin – in the new colored brown of the season: cognac – are placed on hybrid jackets, resembling skin overshirts. Denim is also present, but we bludgeon it, we fade it! Jeans with a worn, vintage look, to wear with slightly pointed retro boots. The key colors? the reds and oranges in a nod to the hotel carpet in Shining are worn on jacquard knitted polo shirts, for example, to be layered over the cognac jackets.

The style

We say we do! The jeans are worn faded, so we'll pick up a washed jacket from Levi's, which we combine with jeans from Scotch & Soda. We're right in the middle of this seventies trend with a pair of Chelsea boots from Finsbury and a cream-colored short-sleeved polo-cut shirt from Percival. And, as brown is/will be omnipresent, the outfit is completed with a Noyoco jacket ... in linen and cotton rather than in skin!

Gym Club

No need to go to the gym anymore, the sports club locker room comes to us! It's a real invasion of joggingwear (comfortable clothing in jersey or fleece material ) in our daily lives, teleworking is required! We mix a blazer with jogging bottoms for a video session, an elegant overcoat with nylon pants with side snaps for going out to the bakery, or a sweatshirt under an office jacket while picking up your daughter from school. Key pieces such as the zipped polo shirt, the windbreaker, or the hoodie mix with certain classic products from our wardrobe. In colors and graphics: burgundy and red are omnipresent, as well as a “rugby” trend that gives way to large, sporty, green, of course, stripes!

Close your eyes and forget (a little) everything you think you know about style associations. Then open them again, put on a pair of Colorful Standard jogging pants, combine them with a pair of Belledonne sneakers, and, we start to deviate from sportswear,  with a Balibaris merino wool sweater. Small Le Chapoté cap, brightly colored bag from Rains, the lounge is back, but we're sprinkling the whole thing with a beautiful navy overcoat/trench from Maison Standards to “cliquish” it all up!

Garden Party

A fresh wind is blowing on the spring-summer 2023 men's fashion trends: we dare to wear flowers! Previously categorized as “women's wardrobe” (excluding Hawaiian shirts), the floral print is asserting itself this summer as a total look for men. We're seeing the big comeback of the shirt, paired with shorts in the same print, and we're carrying a 48H bag in hand, ready for a spring picnic! The cuts are clean and inspired by military codes: patch pockets with flaps, straight collar, cuffs on the sleeves... In terms of colors, we inevitably surf on vegetable tones: shades of green and moss khaki (more colorful and lighter than a military khaki ) and course the touches of color present in the graphics, fuchsia, bright yellow, and sky blue. The icing on the cake is that the floral patterns are inspired by key works by certain artists: Douanier Rousseau, William Morris, and Gauguin, massive, contoured, and living flowers.

So we are aware that not everyone is ready to adorn themselves in flowers from head to toe, even in the editorial office of Le Camion! But we can take inspiration from it to create a look that's easier to wear, starting with a very spicy floral shirt from Scotch & Soda, which we calm down with green chinos from Faguo and a very beautiful pair of Max Sauveur boat shoes – the coolest at the start of the year ;) – before accessorizing by combining Brixton sand bucket hat and sunglasses with green lenses (hehe) taken from the Polette catalog.

Desert

One of the biggest trends of this spring-summer 2023 season is  “tonal blocking”: wearing the same shade on top and bottom. Combine in monochrome (dark pink and washed pink) or in monochrome, the idea is again to turn towards nature: the yellowed beige of exotic beaches, the terracotta pink (dark and earthy) of desert mountains, or even the shades of browns of certain volcanic rocks. In a casual chic universe, the materials and pieces announce high summer: linen, hemp, washed cotton, worn over crisp overshirts, ethnic checkered jackets, light wide-leg pants, or elasticated Bermuda shorts, all worn with a bucket hat or a matching cap. Man is ready for any adventure in arid territory.

Here, we play on shades of pink. Peach for the  Colorful Standard hoodie, powdery for the Le Chapoté cap, and an almost terracotta-washed pink on the metallic nylon shorts from Stone Island. At Arket, we're going with a taupe twill overshirt, in the same tones as the Bleu de Chauffe bag. Finally, we finish the look with the feet, which we slip into a pair of Pare Gabia sandals.

Bella Roma

A trip to Italy for the most elegant styles of these 5 spring-summer 2023 men's fashion trends. The chic wardrobe adapts to the seasonality: double-breasted jackets are worn in ecru linen, double-pleated pants are adapted in new shades (caramel, sand) and the classic shirt takes on a holiday look, in openwork jersey or colors assertive – orange-yellow called “tangerine”. For its part, the pants rise well at the waist, the shirt tucked inside, and the moccasin is worn without socks. Above all, we uncoordinate: no three-piece suit, we mix the right elements. The beige double-breasted jacket will be worn with the caramel double pleat pants, and vice versa. A sign of supreme relaxation in this sartorial universe.

High class. Fursac shirt in cotton poplin with contrasting collar and cuffs tucked into comfortable but elegant Uniqlo pants, in a light tone, with a pair of sandals (definitely the shoe of the season!) 1083 on your feet, and we could already go out to get our focaccia with style. But that's not enough! So we put on a Noyoco sleeveless sweater and a Reiss beige double-breasted blazer before accessorizing everything with a beautiful Maison Standards scarf and tutto posto!
