MAGA battle as Trump ally threatens to sue former Fox host: ‘He can go to hell!’

Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani is firing back, threatening a defamation lawsuit against former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The high-profile clash erupted after Carlson, who has distanced himself from Donald Trump, conducted an interview with Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden.

A Contentious Exchange

The dispute stems from a recent interview where Carlson and Hunter Biden discussed the 2020 leak of contents from an abandoned laptop. According to Mediaite, Giuliani alleges that both men defamed him during the conversation regarding the origin of the laptop's data. Giuliani, who served as an attorney for Donald Trump, previously provided the materials from the computer's hard drive to the New York Post.

"He personally defamed me, Hunter Biden did," Giuliani stated during a fiery appearance on Newsmax. "And so did Tucker and I’m seriously considering suing him."

The Battle Over Allegations

Giuliani took issue with the tone and content of the interview, accusing Carlson of being far too sympathetic toward Biden. "During the course of his interview, in which Tucker virtually had Hunter on his lap, feeding him a bottle, he asked him about, you know — it didn’t come from the Russians," Giuliani remarked.

The former mayor specifically lashed out at claims that he and Donald Trump acted as agents for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "In other words, he agrees that I was and Trump was an agent for Bibi. He can go to hell!" Giuliani exclaimed. "I wasn’t an agent for anybody but myself and the United States of America and the man I was representing."

Fact-Checking the Claims

As reported by Mediaite, Giuliani's complaints touched on past media coverage, including New York Times reporting that was later revised to reflect that the material provided to the Post was not “unsubstantiated.”

During the interview, Carlson claimed that individuals linked to the Israeli government had approached him while he was at Fox News to allege the existence of abusive material involving minors on the hard drive. Hunter Biden dismissed these claims as an "utter effing lie," asserting that there was no evidence of such material on the device.
