First Alabama location of Canadian boutique announces opening date

The wait is almost over for Alabama shoppers. Aritzia, the renowned Canadian design house, is officially set to open its doors at The Summit this Thursday. According to the shopping center's social media announcement, doors will open to the public at 10 a.m.

New Retail Momentum at The Summit

This grand opening follows reports from earlier this year regarding the retailer's expansion into the Birmingham market. Aritzia is celebrated for its curated portfolio of exclusive brands, and this new 7,670-square-foot storefront—located conveniently near The Cheesecake Factory—will mark the company’s first-ever Alabama location.

Continued Growth

Aritzia joins a wave of high-profile additions to The Summit throughout the summer. Recent arrivals include PopUp Bagels, which began serving customers last month. The retail hub is also preparing for the fall arrivals of Reformation, to be situated between Madewell and Free People, as well as the British clothing brand Boden.

The Summit’s ongoing efforts to bring fresh retail talent to the state continue to transform the Birmingham shopping experience, as noted by 205focus.com reporting.
