Burlington Stores opening latest Alabama location next month

Shoppers in Gadsden have a new destination to check out next month as Burlington Stores expands its Alabama footprint.
Store Details and Location
The off-price retailer is set to open its newest location on Friday, Sept. 4, at the Coosa Town Center, located at 324 East Meighan Blvd. This arrival marks the company's 13th store in the state.
The store will operate on the following schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday - Saturday: 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Grand Opening Perks
To celebrate the debut, the first 100 customers (ages 18 and up) to visit on both Friday, Sept. 4, and Saturday, Sept. 5, will receive a $10 bonus card.
A Fresh Look
This Gadsden location will showcase Burlington's updated store design, which prioritizes a better customer experience through wider, more organized aisles and improved signage. This rollout is part of a broader company initiative for 2026, which includes the opening of 110 net new stores nationwide. Currently, more than half of the brand's fleet has transitioned to this new layout, with the remainder expected to be updated by the end of the year, according to reporting by 205focus.com.
