A Downtown Burger Destination
Located at 2328 Second Ave. North, On a Bun is perfectly positioned in the heart of Birmingham’s bustling downtown food and entertainment corridor. Since opening in summer 2025, Crystal and Denise Peterson have turned the former Yo’ Mama’s space—which has since moved to a larger location nearby—into a casual, welcoming spot for heavy-hitting sandwiches.
The Menu
Expect more than just a standard patty. The menu features thick, juicy burgers and sandwiches using turkey, catfish, chicken, or pork chops.
