As a federal holiday, keep in mind that government offices, banks, the U.S. Postal Service, and local government facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. However, if you are looking to get some errands done, most major retailers and grocery stores are keeping their doors open.

While most major chains remain operational, Costco is a notable exception and will be closed for the day.
Walmart, Sam's Club, and Target Hours
