Popular fast food chain adds beloved Alabama food to its menu, here’s how you can try it for $1

A true Alabama culinary staple is coming to the menu of a fast-food chain born right here in the state. Jack’s Family Restaurants is officially rolling out Conecuh sausage dogs, and they are giving Gulf Coast diners an exclusive early bird opportunity to grab one for a steal.
New Menu Addition
Jack’s Family Restaurants is bringing hickory-smoked flavor to its nationwide lineup. The restaurant is launching a meal deal that features two Conecuh sausage dogs served with a side of fries and a pie. This new offering is set to hit most locations starting Wednesday, May 20.
Taste It For Just $1
If you live near the Gulf Coast, you don't have to wait until Wednesday. According to reports from WKRG, select Alabama locations will host a special preview event on Tuesday, May 19, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., where customers can snag a Conecuh dog for just $1.
