During a candid appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast, O’Donnell reflected on her current status in the public eye. As The Hill reports, the former The View host feels like she is experiencing a career resurgence, crediting the president for the renewed attention. She noted that she told her children she was officially "re-famous."

The New Nickname

During the conversation, O’Donnell pulled no punches, labeling the president as "Mango Mussolini." Attributing her recent professional surge directly to the friction between the two New Yorkers, she quipped, "I think it’s him who did it."

O’Donnell went on to speculate that if Trump realized he was inadvertently boosting her career, he would likely change his tune. She added, "If he knew how much he was helping my career and my life, he would shut up about me because he’s a horrible creature."

The animosity between O’Donnell and Trump is well-documented, stretching back years. "Like I go, is everyone looking at the same speech he just gave? Did we hear what he just said? He is asleep again, ladies and gentlemen! Like what is it going to take?"

Poehler echoed those sentiments, telling O’Donnell, "The looking around and the almost, the gaslighting that’s afterwards is so stressful."
