State tournament champions lead the way on girls Class 4A soccer All-State team

The state tournament champion St. Luke’s squad sits atop the Class 4A girls soccer All-State team, dominating the roster with six selections. As determined by Alabama High School Athletic Association coaches, all six of the St. Luke’s honorees earned spots on the first team.

St. Luke’s is represented by senior forward and tournament MVP Kiley Hawarah, senior midfielder Presley Jackson, junior midfielder Sofia Maghupoy, senior defenders Ally Grace Lowell and Evelyn Cummings, and junior goalkeeper Ashlyn Turner.

Orange Beach also enjoyed a successful showing, landing four performers on the first team. Other schools making significant impacts included Mars Hill Bible, which placed two athletes on the first team and four on the second, and Cherokee County, which secured two spots on each of the first and second teams. Additionally, St. James landed two players on the first team and one on the second, while St. John Paul II saw two players named to the first team.
