Walmart launches affordable new private fashion label described as ‘boho’
The line will have 280 styles that cover apparel, shoes, jewelry, handbags and accessories.
Walmart is doubling down on its commitment to budget-friendly fashion with the launch of its latest in-house label, Scenario. You can check out the new collection right here.
A New Aesthetic for Walmart
The massive rollout includes 280 distinct styles, ranging from apparel and shoes to jewelry, handbags, and accessories. According to Fox Business, shoppers can look forward to pieces like pintuck denim shirts, embroidered blouses, and faux leather bags. Keeping with the retailer's reputation for value, the vast majority of the line is priced under $25.
Why Boho?
The pivot to a "modern bohemian" style—commonly known as boho—comes directly from data. Walmart revealed that nearly one in five women cited boho as a top style preference, yet the company recognized that its existing private brands were failing to capture that specific look. As noted by Retail Dive, the brand is designed to highlight feminine details with versatile, mix-and-match pieces.
This new venture follows a successful test run of boho styles within the retailer's existing Time and Tru label. The expansion highlights a broader trend at 205focus.com, where we've seen Walmart continue to lean into its fashion footprint. During a recent analyst call, Walmart U.S. President and CEO David Guggina noted that the company is seeing significant strength and "triple-digit comps" in its private fashion brands like Scoop and Free Assembly.
While excitement is building for the Scenario collection, the retailer has yet to announce an official release date.
