The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the inmate as Patrick Lamar Croskey. According to Deputy Coroner Matt Angelo, correctional staff discovered Croskey unresponsive inside his single-person cell.
Timeline of Events
Jail staff first discovered Croskey in distress at 2:35 p.m. Despite the response, he was pronounced dead less than an hour later at 3:26 p.m. As reported by 205focus.com, an autopsy is scheduled for today to establish the official cause and manner of death.

Croskey had been in custody since April 21, when he was booked into the facility following a failure to appear on misdemeanor charges.
