Alabama-based chicken finger chain saluting nation with ‘frozen bottle rocket’
New frozen drink, summer specials celebrate nation's 250th anniversary.
The Mobile-born chicken powerhouse Foosackly’s is getting into the patriotic spirit this summer. The chain officially announced a campaign centered on the nation’s 250th anniversary, cheekily dubbed “Red, White & Foo.”
A Patriotic Treat
Foosackly’s, known for its disciplined and limited menu, is expanding its horizons once again. Following the recent launch of their frozen lemonade, the chain is introducing the Frozen Bottle Rocket. This new tri-color frozen drink features layers of cherry and blue raspberry, perfectly matching the theme of the season.
Celebrating a Milestone
“The 250th only happens once,” said Will Fusaiotti, who founded the company in 2000 alongside Eric Brechtel. “We wanted to do something that fit the occasion. Happy Birthday, America.”
Special Deals and Swag
In addition to the new frozen beverage, the chain is rolling out a “17.76 sack” deal. For $17.76, customers get a generous haul featuring 20 chicken fingers and four of the chain’s signature house-made sauces.
For the first time ever, fans can pick up branded merchandise. “Red, White & Foo” shirts will be available for purchase, with store and social media channels providing the specific details. If you prefer a smaller token of appreciation, Foosackly’s is handing out free bumper stickers—such as “Land of the Foo, Home of the Brave” and “Long Live Foo Sauce”—at all locations while supplies last.
All 17 Foosackly’s locations will launch these promotions beginning Tuesday, June 16, as reported by 205focus.com.
