Huntsville and Madison County are preparing to roll out the red carpet for our nation's heroes. Led by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, a series of organizations are uniting this June to host the annual Armed Forces Celebration, a week-long tribute to the men and women who serve in our military.

North Alabama will be buzzing with activity from June 5 through June 13, 2026. The celebration offers a diverse lineup of events, ranging from competitive sports and live music to formal commemorations, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy as we honor those in uniform.
Event Schedule
The excitement kicks off on Friday, June 5, and keeps the momentum going all week long. Here is what to expect during this year's festivities:
- Friday, June 5: 2026 AUSA Iron Mike Golf Tournament at The Links at Redstone
- Saturday, June 6: 251st Army Birthday Celebration at Redstone Gateway (outside Gate 9)
- Sunday, June 7: Gold Star Family Appreciation at the Rocket City Trash Pandas Game
- Monday, June 8: Proclamation Signing Ceremony and Concert in the Park at Big Spring Park
