Auburn lands commitment from 4-star defensive lineman

Auburn is adding significant muscle to the trenches. The Tigers' 2027 recruiting class grew stronger on Sunday with the addition of four-star defensive lineman Nate Kamba.

Strengthening the Defensive Front

Kamba’s commitment brings the Tigers' 2027 class to 18 total players. The decision came shortly after he completed an official visit to the Plains, where he ultimately chose Auburn over a competitive field that included Ohio State, Georgia, and South Carolina.

The North Carolina native, who attends Corvian Community High School in Charlotte, stands at 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds. According to the 247Sports composite, Kamba is rated as the No. 270 overall prospect in the country and the 32nd-best defensive lineman. He becomes the second defensive lineman to join the class, pairing up with fellow four-star recruit and in-state talent Donivan Moore.

Recruiting Momentum

With Kamba officially on board, Auburn continues to climb the charts. The 2027 cycle for the Tigers now sits at 14th nationally in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings, placing the program fifth among SEC schools as reported by 205focus.com.
