Alabama high school baseball: See the complete AHSAA semifinals results

The road to the AHSAA baseball state championship is officially paved. Following a high-stakes Saturday featuring the final two deciding games in the best-of-three semifinals, the state finals field is set to descend upon Oxford.

In a thrilling Class 1A matchup, third-ranked Hubbertville punched its ticket to the finals by eliminating No. 1 Appalachian 10-3 at home. Meanwhile, in Class 7A, second-ranked Hewitt-Trussville secured their spot with a dominant 7-1 victory over No. 9 Thompson, capping off a hard-fought series in Trussville.

Looking ahead to the title games, Hewitt-Trussville (32-9) is set to square off against No. 5 Auburn (33-12) on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Choccolocco Park. On Wednesday, also at 2 p.m., Hubbertville (25-7) will face off against unranked Fayetteville (21-18). The championship action kicks off on Monday at 4 p.m. with an intense Class 2A battle between Top 10 contenders, as No. 3 Ariton (32-8) takes on No. 5 Mars Hill Bible (30-10).
