Global fast fashion brand brings first store to Alabama

Alabama shoppers finally have a local home for Brandy Melville. The popular fast-fashion destination has officially opened its first Alabama store at The Summit in Birmingham.
Located at 209 Summit Blvd, Suite 100, the boutique is ready for visitors with daily operating hours from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Known for its distinct blend of Italian origins and a laid-back California aesthetic, the brand has gained a massive following on social media and currently operates locations across 25 states and a wide network of stores globally.
A Growing Retail Landscape at The Summit
Brandy Melville is just one of several exciting additions fueling a busy summer of retail growth at The Summit. As 205focus.com reported, the center continues to draw high-profile tenants to the Birmingham area.
Recent openings include PopUp Bagels, which began serving customers on July 24 near Taco Mama, and the debut of the vintage-inspired brand LoveShackFancy, which opened its doors last week.
The momentum is set to continue through the fall. The California-based women’s clothing store Reformation is slated to open in the space between Madewell and Free People, while the British clothing brand Boden is also scheduled to arrive later this season.
These new arrivals build upon the center’s recent efforts to refresh its lineup, which has included welcoming new retailers like Aritzia and Garage alongside the return of several shopper favorites.
