Homewood wine bistro closing after 2 years

Freddy’s Bar & Bistro has officially shuttered its doors on Oxmoor Road. The popular wine spot, which had occupied the former Nabeel’s Cafe space for the past two years, is no longer in operation.

A Permanent Closure

Confirmation of the closure comes as the restaurant is now listed as permanently closed on Google, and the location has been scrubbed from the official company website. A sign posted on the premises cites an expired lease as the reason for the closure.

Highland Avenue Location Remains Active

While the Oxmoor Road chapter has ended, fans of the brand can still get their fix at the Freddy’s location at 2251 Highland Ave. S., which remains open for business. Patrons can continue to enjoy the signature menu, which spans from fresh salads and hot dogs to gelato selections and a full list of drinks.
