Homewood wine bistro closing after 2 years

Freddy’s Bar & Bistro on Oxmoor Road has officially closed its doors, marking the end of its two-year run in Homewood.
A Short Tenure in Homewood
The establishment, which originally opened in the space formerly occupied by Nabeel’s Cafe, is now listed as permanently closed on Google. Visitors to the site will also notice that the Oxmoor Road location has been removed from the business's official website.
According to a notice posted on the door, the closure is the result of the business’ lease expiring.
Staying Open Elsewhere
While the Homewood location has shuttered, fans of the brand can still visit the Freddy’s outpost at 2251 Highland Ave. S. in Birmingham, which remains open for business. Patrons there can continue to enjoy a menu that features a variety of options, including salads, hot dogs, and gelato, along with a full selection of drinks.
