Huntsville Hospital opens new center in north Alabama, creating up to 250 new jobs

Huntsville Hospital Health System and Marshall Medical Centers have officially expanded their footprint in North Alabama, opening a brand-new 32,000-square-foot Operations Center in Arab. The project, which marks a significant investment in the region, is set to create up to 250 jobs.
Boosting Regional Infrastructure
Located at 8830 U.S. 231, the facility acts as a vital hub for essential nonclinical operations. These teams handle critical backend tasks such as billing, preregistration, scheduling, customer service, and accounting, providing the necessary support for healthcare teams across the entire HH Health system. About 60 employees have already hit the ground running at the new site.
Investing in Local Talent
The opening is a response to the growth of the nonprofit health system, which oversees 15 hospitals across North Alabama and southern Tennessee. With their existing Madison center reaching capacity, this expansion allows the health system to maintain high operational standards while keeping jobs within the local community rather than outsourcing them.
"Patient care happens in our hospitals, physician offices and clinics, but it is supported every day by dedicated teams working behind the scenes," said Clinton Carter, CFO for HH Health. Marshall Medical Centers President Chris Rush echoed that sentiment, noting that the move represents a major investment in the future of Marshall County and the families who reside there.
