Following his heavyweight victory over Derrick Lewis on June 14, Hokit joined Joe Rogan for a post-fight interview on the Paramount+ broadcast. During the live segment, Hokit abruptly shifted the tone by shouting, “And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?”
The remark caught Rogan off guard, who appeared visibly flustered. Rogan opted not to address the comment directly, simply closing the segment by stating, “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.” The broadcast moved on immediately, and the statement was not referenced again during the event coverage.
