A tragic rollover crash in Tuscaloosa County has claimed the life of an 18-year-old. The fatal accident occurred late Wednesday night, leaving the community to mourn as Alabama State Troopers continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the wreck.

According to reports from 205focus.com, the accident took place at 10:42 p.m. Wednesday on Yellow Creek Road near Alabama 69, approximately 14 miles north of Northport.
Investigation Underway
Trooper Sgt. Reginal King stated that the victim was operating a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The vehicle veered off the roadway and subsequently overturned upon re-entering the surface. Authorities confirmed that the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision, resulting in the teen being ejected from the truck. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
In accordance with standard protocol, Alabama State Troopers do not release the names of teen fatality victims. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
