Investigation Underway
Trooper Sgt. Reginal King stated that the victim was operating a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The vehicle veered off the roadway and subsequently overturned upon re-entering the surface. Authorities confirmed that the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision, resulting in the teen being ejected from the truck. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
In accordance with standard protocol, Alabama State Troopers do not release the names of teen fatality victims. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
