41-year-old man killed in targeted weekend shooting in Montgomery

A 41-year-old man was killed in what police described as a targeted weekend shooting in Montgomery. Police officials on Monday identified the victim as Tony Julius. He lived in Montgomery. The shooting happened at 6:38 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Decatur Street. Lt. Tina McGriff said officers and fire medics arrived at the location to find Julius dead. “Preliminary evidence indicates this incident was a targeted act,” McGriff said.
