Alabama deputies respond to possible drowning of 1-year-old boy

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is requesting community support and prayers following a heartbreaking Sunday afternoon emergency. Deputies were called to the scene of a possible drowning involving a one-year-old boy.

According to an official social media post from the Sheriff's Office, deputies and medical responders worked quickly to provide aid before transporting the toddler to Decatur Morgan Hospital. The child was subsequently moved to a different medical facility for further treatment.
Authorities have not issued any new updates regarding the child's condition. In their initial statement, the Sheriff’s Office wrote, “Please join us in praying for the child, his family, the medical teams and the first responders that responded to the scene.”
