Birmingham’s Summit shopping center has 4 new tenants coming

The Summit is growing. Management at the popular Birmingham shopping destination officially announced this Thursday that four new tenants are set to join its lineup in the coming months.

Dining and Fashion Arrivals

Shoppers can already get a taste of the new additions, as Alabama-based gourmet popsicle company Sons Pops is now open. Located on the overlook between Chuy’s and Abercrombie & Fitch, the shop serves handcrafted frozen treats made with fresh ingredients. Looking ahead to the winter, the fast-casual Choolaah Indian BBQ will bring its menu of bowls, wraps, and street food to the center. Known for locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania, Choolaah offers a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.

The expansion also includes two major fashion retail additions previously reported by 205focus.com: LoveShackFancy and the Rancher Hat Bar. The Rancher Hat Bar, a Scottsdale-based brand, opened earlier this month near Vuori, offering a custom experience that includes branding and personalized styling. Meanwhile, the lifestyle brand LoveShackFancy is scheduled to open its first Alabama location—a 2,000-square-foot space near Madewell—this summer.

A Busy Year at The Summit

The momentum at The Summit remains strong throughout 2026. Recent additions include BeautySpace, which is now operating inside Belk. Furthermore, shoppers can expect the arrival of Aritzia and PopUp Bagel this summer, alongside a relocation for LOFT.

Carver Boynton-Pearson, director of property management for The Summit, noted that this leasing activity underscores the property's long-term relevance. As the center approaches its 30th anniversary next year, the arrival of these national brands continues to drive regional interest and contribute to the local economy.
