Chase opening new Alabama location, looks to expand to 5 more cities by year’s end
It's the bank's 16th location in the state.
Chase is expanding its footprint along the Alabama Gulf Coast, officially opening its newest bank branch in Foley. Located at 2400 S. McKenzie Street, the facility marks the company's 16th location in the state, with a grand opening celebration set for Tuesday.
Ambitious Expansion Plans
This opening is part of a larger, aggressive growth strategy for JPMorgan Chase. The banking giant has committed to triple its Alabama presence by 2030, aiming for 35 branches spanning from Muscle Shoals to Mobile. The momentum is expected to continue rapidly throughout the remainder of this year, with five additional locations planned for Montgomery, Mobile, Daphne, Decatur, and Huntsville.
Serving the Community
The new Foley branch is equipped to provide a full suite of services, including personal banking, lending, and wealth management. "Investing in Foley allows Chase to be a resource for growth for our families and our community," said branch manager Kaitlin Phillips. "We look forward to meeting our neighbors face-to-face during life’s biggest moments – buying a car, a home, starting a business or planning for their kids’ education.”
A Bright Future for Alabama
The bank's commitment to the state goes beyond new storefronts. Earlier this year, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon dedicated significant space in his annual shareholder letter to the potential of the region, noting that Alabama's future looks incredibly bright.
This confidence has spurred several strategic initiatives, most notably the American Dream Initiative (ADI). Through this program, Chase aims to boost local small businesses by providing enhanced access to capital, training, and financial tools. Dimon, who toured Alabama last year during a multi-state visit, remains a key driver in the bank's Southern expansion, as reported by 205focus.com.
