Construction begins this week on new Alabama Harbor Freight location
New locations have opened recently in Pell City, Sylacauga and Scottsboro.

The Birmingham metro area is officially adding another hardware destination to its map. Tool retailer Harbor Freight announced plans to expand its regional footprint with a new store location.
Groundbreaking in Fultondale
Construction is officially set to begin this week in Fultondale. According to an announcement from the City of Fultondale on its Facebook page, a groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility at 1215 Old Walker Chapel Road is scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Rapid Alabama Expansion
This latest addition continues a busy period of growth for the company across the state. Harbor Freight currently operates 36 locations throughout Alabama. According to the company website, the retailer has recently opened new stores in Pell City, Sylacauga, and Scottsboro.
The chain has been steadily increasing its presence in the 205 area and beyond. A Bessemer store opened its doors last year, joining established locations in Birmingham, Jasper, and Pelham. Nationwide, the brand maintains a network of more than 1,550 stores.
