Birmingham is about to get a major infusion of bold flavors. A popular Indian street food franchise is officially expanding into Alabama, choosing the Magic City for its first location in the state.
A New Spot for Street Food
Curry Up Now, a fast-casual brand that got its start in 2009 as a humble San Francisco food truck run by a husband and wife duo, is opening its doors at 425 20th St. S. on June 17. The brand has already established a footprint across six other states, including California, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina, and Tennessee, and 205focus.com readers can expect the same vibrant menu in Birmingham.

The restaurant brings a unique twist to traditional Indian cuisine.
