In an excerpt from an upcoming interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” Jill Biden explained that the moment Joe Biden struggled to find his words and lost his train of thought was completely unprecedented in her experience with him. She told CBS News’ Rita Braver, “I wasn’t horrified, I was frightened. Because I never, ever seen Joe like that before or since.”

The former first lady did not mince words regarding the severity of her concern at the time. “I don’t know what happened,” she stated during the interview. “As I watched it, I thought ‘oh my god he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”
