Miss Alabama 2026: 4 women take preliminary wins on Thursday in talent, evening gown

The Miss Alabama 2026 competition is officially in full swing at Samford University’s Wright Center, with contestants narrowing down the field ahead of Saturday’s high-stakes finale.

Thursday Preliminary Results

Thursday’s session saw four talented women rise to the top of the leaderboard. In the talent category, Alana Price (Miss Samford University) and Hannah Adams (Miss Shelby County) walked away tied for the best score. Price, a 21-year-old biology major from Sylacauga, impressed judges with her piano rendition of “Malaguena.” Meanwhile, 22-year-old Hannah Adams, a marketing MBA student from Birmingham, dazzled with a jazz ballet performance to “Get Lost.”

The evening gown competition also resulted in a tie, with Hailey Adams (Miss University of Alabama) and Mikella Anderson (Miss Lake Guntersville) capturing top honors. Hailey Adams, a 20-year-old public relations student from Birmingham, is the sister of Hannah Adams, making it a banner night for the family. Mikella Anderson, 22, represented Prattville and currently studies business management at Auburn University.
