Missing 79-Year-Old Birmingham Woman Found Safe, Alert Canceled

UPDATE: Birmingham police have confirmed that Senora Thomas has been found safe.

EARLIER: Authorities are actively searching for a 79-year-old Birmingham woman reported missing on Tuesday.

The Birmingham Police Department issued a Critical Missing Person alert for Senora Thomas, who was last seen around 10:45 a.m. near Children’s of Alabama.

Thomas, who has a medical condition that impairs her judgment, was wearing a black "Church of God" t-shirt, black jeans, and white Crocs when she was last seen.
