Alabaster's culinary scene is expanding next week as a popular breakfast, lunch, and brunch chain brings its latest location to the city's newest retail hub.

First Watch Arrives in District 31

First Watch is set to open its doors this Monday at 725 1st St. S., becoming a key anchor in the Shoppes of District 31 development. This spacious 4,400-square-foot establishment is designed for comfort, featuring a bar, a covered patio, and enough seating for more than 170 guests.

The restaurant is one of the premier businesses joining the massive $242 million Shoppes of District 31 project. The development is quickly becoming a go-to destination, with other announced tenants including Panera Bread, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Hollywood Feed, Chipotle, Cava, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and Aspen Dental.

Menu Highlights and Opening Perks

With 640 locations across 32 states, First Watch is bringing its signature lineup to Alabaster. Diners can look forward to fan favorites like Avocado Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Farmhouse Hash, and the famous Million Dollar Bacon, alongside an array of fresh salads and sandwiches. Beyond their standard offerings, the restaurant will feature a rotating seasonal menu, with the first edition slated for a fall debut.

To toast the grand opening, guests who visit the Alabaster location between Monday, June 15, and Friday, June 19, will enjoy unlimited Project Sunrise coffee with their meal.

Operating Details

The new restaurant will operate on a single-shift schedule, serving customers daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for dine-in, pickup, and delivery. The location is expected to create approximately 30 jobs. Those interested in joining the team are encouraged to apply at the website.
