Teen killed in shooting at east Jefferson County home
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Haversham Drive.

An active investigation is underway in eastern Jefferson County following a deadly shooting late Wednesday night.
Victim Identified
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 18-year-old Antrez Tishan Mallory of Birmingham. Authorities confirmed that Mallory was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:19 p.m.
The Incident
The shooting took place just after 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Summit Ridge apartments, located in the 100 block of Haversham Drive. First responders from Center Point Fire and Rescue and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene after receiving a 911 call reporting that a victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. Birmingham officers were also on-site to assist with the response.
