Gadsden is seeing a major industrial boost this week as Pencco officially opens the doors to its new, $20 million chemical manufacturing facility. Located at 3500 Michael Ann Avenue, the plant marks a significant expansion for the company.

The facility specializes in producing chemicals essential for water, wastewater, and corrosion control treatment. These products serve both municipal and industrial clients, playing a critical role in local infrastructure and utility maintenance.
