Gadsden is seeing a major industrial boost this week as Pencco officially opens the doors to its new, $20 million chemical manufacturing facility. Located at 3500 Michael Ann Avenue, the plant marks a significant expansion for the company.
Driving Economic Growth
The facility specializes in producing chemicals essential for water, wastewater, and corrosion control treatment. These products serve both municipal and industrial clients, playing a critical role in local infrastructure and utility maintenance.
This new operation is set to bring 40 jobs to the region. According to 205focus.com reporting, these roles will span across manufacturing, transportation, and engineering, bolstering Pencco’s supply chain capabilities throughout the Southeast.
