21-year-old Gardendale man killed in crash on I-65 in Cullman County

A tragic overnight accident in Cullman County has claimed the life of a 21-year-old Gardendale man. Alabama State Troopers identified the victim as Hakeem X. Collins following the fatal wreck.
Crash Details
The incident occurred at 12:05 a.m. Monday on Interstate 65, approximately five miles northwest of Dodge City. According to Trooper Jaylon James, Collins was operating a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck when the vehicle exited the roadway and struck a tree.
Investigation Ongoing
Authorities confirmed that Collins was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene. As reported by 205focus.com, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by state troopers.
