Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a mobile home park located off Doc McDuffie Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite the immediate life-saving efforts provided by responding deputies, the victim—identified as Forrest Self—succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Suspect in Custody

Patrick Beasley, 35, was taken into custody at the scene. He is currently being held at the Baldwin County Corrections Center and faces a charge of murder in connection with the death of Forrest Self. He remains in custody while awaiting further judicial proceedings.
