A fatal single-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a 65-year-old Birmingham man. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the victim has been identified as Frank Edward Williams.

The tragedy occurred on Monday afternoon, with emergency responders arriving at the scene in the 3500 block of Fourth Street West at 3:05 p.m. Following the crash, Williams was transported to UAB Hospital for emergency treatment, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead at 3:46 p.m.
