$7 million plus med-spa center coming to Homewood by 2027
The facility will house Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa, an existing practice that emphasizes holistic and patient-centered care.
Homewood is set to receive a significant wellness upgrade. A new three-story medical facility is officially under construction, aiming to bolster the area's healthcare landscape with a modern, patient-focused destination.
A New Hub for Wellness
Located at 2714 20th Street South, the project is replacing the familiar Metcalf Realty building. The site will serve as the new home for Vitalogy Wellness Center & Med-Spa, a practice widely recognized for its commitment to holistic and patient-centered care.
Project Details and Timeline
Backed by an investment of more than $7 million, the development is a collaboration between Birmingham’s Pylon Building Group and developers Crescent Real Estate Holdings LLC. Beyond Vitalogy, the building is slated to provide professional office space for additional medical tenants, further centralizing health services for the community.
Dr. Farah Sultan of Vitalogy previously noted that the center began as a vision to redefine wellness, growing into a destination for beauty, longevity, and elevated health, according to ABC 33/40. Reggie Torbor, CEO and president of Pylon Building Group, added that the project was designed to meet a growing need for these services in the region.
As reported by 205focus.com, construction is currently underway with a projected completion date in the first quarter of 2027.
