Voters across Alabama are gearing up for the August 11 special primary election, which specifically impacts those living in U.S. House Districts 1, 2, 6, and 7.
Prepare for Election Day
Not every county will hold elections for both major political parties, so it is vital to verify your status before you head to the polls. To get a head start, you can access sample ballots for each county directly via the Secretary of State’s website. Voters have the option to choose either a Democratic or Republican primary ballot.
Pro-tip: You can save valuable time on election day by printing your sample ballot in advance, filling it out, and bringing it with you. Just be sure to take it with you when you leave your polling station. Please note that the official ballot you see at your polling place may vary slightly from the sample depending on your specific precinct's candidates.

Not sure which district you fall into? You can confirm your status by visiting the Secretary of State’s "VoterView" portal. By entering your full name and date of birth, you can find your designated polling location and scroll to the "Districts" section to identify your Congressional district.
