Birmingham-Based Motion Industries Expands with Acquisition of Two Canadian Companies

Birmingham-based Motion Industries has announced plans to acquire two Canadian companies.

The hydraulics and equipment company revealed that it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the operating assets of LSI Supply Inc., based in Canada, along with its sister company, 273 Ontario, which operates under the name LSI.

The transaction is expected to be finalized later this month, though the terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

LSI, headquartered in Windsor, Ontario, operates five locations and specializes in distributing bearings, seals, power transmission, and fluid power components, among other products.
