Bridge Street dessert shop closes

Huntsville's dessert scene is changing at Bridge Street Town Centre. Bite Me Cupcakery has officially closed its doors, marking an end to its time at the popular outdoor shopping destination.

Closure Details

The bakery confirmed the news through a social media post, noting that Sunday, June 14, served as its final day of operations. The shop had been a fixture in a 1,500-square-foot space since opening in 2025.

Community Gratitude

In their farewell message, the management team expressed deep appreciation for the support they received: “After serving this community at Bridge Street Town Centre, we have made the decision to close our doors. To every guest who has walked through these doors, every team member who served you with care, and every neighbor who made this space feel like home – thank you. We are grateful for the time we spent here.”

Gift Cards and Sister Location

While the cupcake shop has shuttered, customers with remaining balances are in luck. Bite Me Cupcakery confirmed that all gift cards will be honored at full value at its sister location, Agave & Rye Huntsville, which is located directly across from the former bakery space.
