Tuscaloosa’s industrial landscape is growing as Epsilon Industries officially broke ground on a massive 65,000-square-foot expansion of its local manufacturing facility. The move signals a major step forward for the modular construction systems manufacturer, which first established its roots in the city back in 2023.

The expansion project is backed by a capital investment exceeding $15 million. According to a release from the Tuscaloosa County Economic Development Authority (TCEDA), this growth initiative will bring 26 new jobs to the area. By scaling up the facility, the company aims to bolster its manufacturing capabilities and ramp up production to handle rising customer demand for off-site construction.

'Epsilon Industries’ decision to expand just two years after establishing operations in Tuscaloosa is a strong vote of confidence in our community, our workforce, and our business climate,' Smyth added.
