Man crashes car into Montgomery house after being shot in broad daylight

Montgomery authorities have launched an investigation following a violent incident on Monday that left a man fighting for his life after a daylight shooting and subsequent vehicle crash.
The Incident
Emergency crews, including Montgomery police and fire medics, responded to the 3900 block of Dalraida Place at 1:31 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, responders discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to Police Lt. Tina McGriff, the victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Investigators determined that the victim was shot while driving, causing his vehicle to veer off the road and strike a nearby home.
