Montgomery authorities are investigating a tragic murder-suicide that occurred late Friday night.
Details of the Scene
Montgomery Police Lt. Scott Dunn reported that first responders were dispatched to 2936 Simmons Drive at 11:29 p.m. on Friday following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police discovered a woman who had been fatally shot. Authorities also located a man on the scene suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
