New shopping center planned for north Alabama city
New shops include a restaurant, coffee bar and home decor shop.
A fresh development project is officially taking shape in Etowah County as construction kicks off this week on a brand-new retail destination in Rainbow City.
Meet Cobblestone Square
Located conveniently on West Grand Avenue right next to City Church, Cobblestone Square is set to bring a new vibe to the area. A formal groundbreaking ceremony is slated for this Thursday afternoon to celebrate the project's launch.
The development is being brought to life by the team at Trent Thrasher Construction, utilizing designs created by architect Patricia E. Sherman.
What to Expect
205focus.com has confirmed that the center will anchor three distinct businesses:
- Struts Famous Wings: Known for their existing footprint in Jacksonville and Oxford, the restaurant will serve up their signature wings, burgers, sandwiches, and salads.
- The Coffee Bar: Expanding from their downtown Gadsden location, this shop will provide a new spot for specialty coffees and curated drinks.
- Gracevines: Shoppers can look forward to a wide selection of gifts, home decor, garden supplies, and seasonal florals. The business is upgrading from its current location into a much larger showroom to better serve its customers.
