The 2025-2026 AHSAA athletic season is ready for its grand finale. Next week, the spotlight shifts to Oxford and Jacksonville as the state baseball and softball tournaments arrive to crown this year's champions.

Baseball Championship Schedule

The baseball state championship series begins this coming Monday at Oxford’s Choccolocco Park, with the Class 2A title series opening at 4 p.m. While Game 1 for each classification will be hosted at Choccolocco Park, Games 2 and 3—if a deciding game is required—will move to the campus of Jacksonville State.

Monday, May 18 (Oxford)

  • Class 2A, Game 1: No. 5 Mars Hill Bible (30-10) vs. No. 3 Ariton (32-8), 4 p.m.

Tuesday, May 19

  • Class 2A, Games 2 & 3 (Jacksonville): No. 5 Mars Hill Bible vs. No. 3 Ariton, 10 a.m.
  • Class 4A, Game 1 (Oxford): No. 5 Westbrook Christian (26-10) vs. No. 10 Bibb County (26-12), 11 a.m.
  • Class 3A, Game 1 (Oxford): No. 3 Gordo (34-8) vs. No. 1 Glenwood (33-8), 2 p.m.
