Blue Bell celebrating America’s 250th birthday with return of patriotic ice cream flavor
It's available in the half gallon, but only for a limited time.
Blue Bell is getting into the spirit of America’s 250th birthday by bringing a long-absent, patriotic favorite back to the freezer aisle.
A Patriotic Return
Starting today, Red, White & Blue Bell Ice Cream makes its highly anticipated return to store shelves. This festive flavor features a delicious mix of vanilla-flavored ice cream, strawberry ice cream, and blueberry-flavored ice cream, all packed with real blueberries. Originally introduced in 2014, the flavor has been missing from rotation since 2017.
Fans can pick up the limited-edition treat in half-gallon cartons, but you will want to act fast as it is only available for a limited time.
“This season is filled with barbecues, Fourth of July parties, and sunny days by the pool. Red, White & Blue Bell Ice Cream is a delicious treat for all those fun occasions,” said Carl Breed, Blue Bell vice president of sales and marketing.
A Busy Year for Blue Bell
The return of this classic is just the latest move for the ice cream giant, which maintains a factory in Sylacauga. Earlier this year, the company introduced Honey Vanilla and brought back Java Jolt, followed by the debut of a protein-packed pint line.
March saw the release of Brookie À La Mode, while last month, 205focus.com reported on the launch of Black Raspberry Fudge.
