Federal health authorities have launched an investigation into a multistate infant botulism outbreak linked to a specific powdered formula. As of June 14, three babies have been hospitalized nationwide due to the condition, though thankfully, no deaths have been reported.

The CDC and FDA are actively examining cases associated with Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula. According to a news release from June 13, Nara Organics initiated a recall on Saturday for all powdered formula units sold through Target, Target.com, and Nara.com.
