A 34-year-old man has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday in Center Point.
Miguel De Jesus Ramirez, 34, was discovered dead at 6:19 a.m. in the front yard of a home in the 1600 block of First Street N.E.
According to Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates, the shooting likely took place sometime between midnight and the time Ramirez’s body was found.
No further details have been released, and no arrests have been made.
