A 34-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in Center Point on Wednesday.

Miguel De Jesus Ramirez was found dead at 6:19 a.m. in the front yard of a home located in the 1600 block of First Street N.E.
According to Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates, the shooting is believed to have taken place sometime between midnight and the time Ramirez's body was discovered.
No further details have been released, and no arrests have been made.
