Opening date set for first Dolly Patron Travel Stop just across the Alabama line
The Patron-themed stop is at the site of The Tennessean Travel Stop.
Get ready for a country-themed road trip essential. The very first Dolly Parton Tennessean Travel Stop is officially ready for business, with a grand opening scheduled to take place later this month.
A Dolly-Inspired Destination
Located just across the Alabama border at exit 22 off I-65 in Cornersville, Tennessee, this new travel destination replaces the former site of The Tennessean Travel Stop. Visitors can expect more than just a quick fuel-up; the facility boasts a full-service sit-down restaurant, a dedicated coffee shop, and DLY BBQ. For those logging long miles, the site also includes a fuel zone, plenty of parking, and a dedicated lounge for truckers.
More Than Just a Pit Stop
True to the music legend's roots, the travel stop leans heavily into its country heritage. The venue features a custom, one-of-a-kind mural serving as a permanent love letter to Cornersville, paired with a dedicated stage area. Fans looking for the perfect photo opportunity can also check out an on-site tour bus, designed to look like the one Parton herself has traveled in for years.
Mark Your Calendars
While the official grand opening is slated for Wednesday, June 24, the festivities will continue well into the summer. According to 205focus.com, organizers have planned a series of special celebrations for the week of July 4 to keep the energy high.
The Cornersville location marks the first of several planned travel stops, though details on where the brand will head next have yet to be announced.
